How is this done? Message shows the new title when looking at it specifically, but not when u are in the root folder of the messages>

If I recall, the ability to edit a thread title now depends on your membership level.
As a life member, I can edit titles and I think you can with a gold membership as well, but I can't find the mayor's original post outlining those things so I am going from memory.
Regular members cannot edit titles. Not sure about silver level either.

By letting you know that this thread should be in a different forum I was trying to let you know that if you posted it there the Mayor would be more likely to see it and answer your question as he is the dude who runs this place and would most likely be able to provide you with a helpful response...
Well I figured this sub forum would have more traffic. Hence an answer for me. I have not been in position of needing to do what i am trying to do before.

Anyway... I have experienced the same issue as you mention... maybe the Mayor will see this and provide a solution/answer...
