If I recall, the ability to edit a thread title now depends on your membership level.

As a life member, I can edit titles and I think you can with a gold membership as well, but I can't find the mayor's original post outlining those things so I am going from memory.

Regular members cannot edit titles. Not sure about silver level either.

Hope that helps.

Post titles are easy to change. Did you mean thread titles?

You have been a member how long... Don't mean to be confrontational (but seeing as you seem to have no problem with it...) c'mon... How about, "Oh yeah, you're right, but anyway, still need to know the answer..." or some such, not "Whatever!"

Sugar catches more flies than salt...

By letting you know that this thread should be in a different forum I was trying to let you know that if you posted it there the Mayor would be more likely to see it and answer your question as he is the dude who runs this place and would most likely be able to provide you with a helpful response...

Didn't mean to offend just pointing out a fact...

Well I figured this sub forum would have more traffic. Hence an answer for me. I have not been in position of needing to do what i am trying to do before.

I can appreciate what you are saying but the sub forums are there for a reason....

Anyway... I have experienced the same issue as you mention... maybe the Mayor will see this and provide a solution/answer...
