I think if you stay in canada you're pretty safe (but don't take my word for it)
Some very clever and not retarded people have been fleeced out of 10's and 100's of thousands because they thought they were smarter than the crooks, in Canada and out.
You trust the scammers way more than I would.
Once they find out they have a 'player' on the line, what's preventing them from changing the game on you to some other form of extortion? Or even as simple as anonymous slander and mail-bombing or joe-jobbing your email account would be bad enough.
Plus, if you actually do manage to get money out of them under false pretenses, you're the on in danger of being charged! Best leave these guys completely alone.

Have to agree with CanadaRAM. Delete the scam e-mail and turn the page. Life's too short to waste it on these scam artists.
Far better to post what you've discovered and warn the ehmac community of what's lurking out there. Sometimes you're lulled into a false sense of security when dealing with the nice people who frequent this site and genuinely wish to purchase the product you have for sale.
