Sorry i lost most of my written French part, i can speak it, but i have been in the english world for over 20 years. i lost most my French, But ya if you could get some info about it at a good price and see how much it cost to have shipped to BC, Canada it would be fantastic. i have some Canadian site that do offer some IDE drives, but the max capacity are 250 gig at about 50 bux each which is not bad at all, free shipping in Canada, but i'm looking for a 750 gig for my Xraid and will do some cooling Fan upgrade as i have seen some cool fans that are really quite from Germany so "be quiet! - silent PSUs, cases and cooling products, fans and psu calculator for your PC" . Even at full Speed, you can barely hear it. they are about 20 - 25€

i have to make sure that they have the proper size for the Xraid.

Anyway, keep me posted and will go from there.

Right, I'll be on the lookout. Nothing doing for serious ATA storage, sorry!

Finally got my Adaptors in, 1 tb HHD already in. next month will get more drives for it

Now waiting for the hdd to come in.
Next month will try to get the first controller filled "1-7" and in about 3 months after will fill the remaining controller 8-14. Can't wait to see it running all of this will be under 1500 bux, way less than i thought

All of them will be a 1TB hdd from Seagate. i hear that Seagate are really good hdd and i have never bought anything other than Seagate. i tried WD and they failed, Samsung are my 2nd best.

my first 1TB is a wd sadly enough and will be used as a Hot Spare once i get my Seagate HDD

my first bay with the 1tb sees only 958 gig, still good enough for what i want to do with it
