Are you on the first page of a google search?

I was actually amazed that I was on the first page of a google search for "Lawrence"

Didn't realize I was that famous, Right along side of "Lawrence of Arabia"

How about you?

Are you as famous as me?

Are you on the first page of the hit parade?

Nope, I am only second, not first. Try your real full name and see if you even come up on the first page!

"David Lawrence" is even higher on the Google list,

Yes I did .............. and I am in competition with another person of the exact same name who is a bookseller in TO.

My first name is very common.... so no. I am no where near the first few pages.

My last name, however, is very unusual. Almost every search result on Google is a member of my immediate family.

With my full name, I come up like 5th on google. All the other results is another guy with the same full name.

Google does seem to make me famous though.

Although...I have been on the Internet since it began in 1994,

Your results are skewed because you are using your own computer and Google knows you and your history... If I Google myself, I'm the top 5 entries (website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc...). On a computer at the Apple Store or the library or any public place, I'm not so popular.
