I'm just curious. Is anyone watching or otherwise following the CIS (University) Men's hockey championships currently underway?
The games are live-streamed at:
Streaming Sports Network Canada
UNB's Varsity Reds won their hard-fought 5-game battle against the St. FX Xmen for the Atlantic Conference championship last week, and therefore went into the CIS championship ranked #1, but the U of A Golden Bears are #2 and should certainly be able to give the Reds a good game.
I just watched the University of Calgary team give UNB a great game. UNB won it with a point shot from Josh Kidd with 4.7 seconds remaining in the third period.
Really great hockey (and free to watch on line!)
Cheers
