PS... whole family loved the burgs with melted cheddar on them and the Keith's was delicious. Sun shining nice and warm with birds chirping. Spent the day with kids going skating and watching a movie. Much better than spending time forming burgers myself and feeling cool about what beer I drink.
When I can mow my lawn with a hand push mower, early on a Sunday morning, when it will not wake anyone up since I am the power.
Actually saw some grass in my front garden yesterday, when it was +7C. So far today, we have had 20cm of snow blown about by winds over 80km/h. Won't see that spot of grass now until June. Still, that is when I say Spring has sprung for me here in St.John's.
I've noticed some signs around the house as well. Theres a mini lake in the back hard from all the snow melt and rain (poor drainage due to a neighbour who put a pool in thats higher than all the other yards and solid concrete patio around it), also there are some buds poking through the ground that I think are tulips. I cant wait till its a sunny day that I can leave the jacket behind and just go out the door!
I was waiting for someone to tell me Canadian BBQ all winter long. That's why I added the "Our household" comment. My BBQing only happens on the above ground side of 0º.
A very meaningful and personal sign of String. Paix, mon ami.
