Hey Ehmac members,
I am just curious if anyone knows anyone in the Architecture field preferably in the Barrie/Collingwood area that might take on a Coop student from an Architectural Technologist program?
As some of you know I used to do tile work, but as I get older it's just not something I can see my self doing full time anymore. So I decided to get my butt in gear and upgrade my math so I could go back to school in Barrie for an Architectural Technologist. I am just finishing my 1st year of a three year program.
The program has a mandatory coop, and you need to have a placement to graduate. The job prospects are less than positive on the Coop bank site, as well as cold calling, and other job banks like Workopolis etc. So I was just wondering if anyone knows anyone who might consider the tax breaks of hiring a student?
I am comfortable with Autocad, MS Office, and section 9 of the building code etc.
Cheers and TIA if anyone knows anyone in the business.
