William Shatner's new TV show may not be taking him to the final frontier, but the "Star Trek" actor is set to take the helm of an original comedy that premieres this week.
Shatner, 79, is the star of the new show "$#*! My Dad Says," which debuts Thursday (Sept. 23) on CBS.
The sitcom is based on the popular Twitter feed of author Justin Halpern who, after moving in with his parents, used the micro-blogging site to record his father's amusing, but often expletive-laden and politically incorrect, observations and advice.
Likely the same way they do it on "Two and a Half Men".
Having never watched an entire episode of the above how would TV producers address the issue of language and still keep the funny?

Well, the obvious answer is to force yourself to watch an entire episode.
It is likely the only way you can form an opinion.
For me to Form an opinion about "two and half men" is easy with limited viewing. It is not funny! I'm to understand it is a sitcom, but IMO it is just a pile of sit totally lacking com or imagination. Just saying.

Hmm, that's odd. It's been the number one comedy in the USA for many years now. I guess you're out of step with the average viewer. Sorry about that.
