Perspective:

The Spanish Flu of 1918 killed a minimum of 20 million.
The Hong KIng flu of the late 1960s killed a million.
Seasonal flu kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people per year.
H1N1 killed fewer than 15,000.
The common cold kills fewer than 1,000.
