When's the last time you mooned somebody?

Years ago, when I was a teenager, it seemed like mooning and being mooned was not an uncommon event. Don't know how it all got started but it seemed that mooning was a good way to either disrespect someone or get a laugh from your friends. I can remember my soccer coach mooning several of us after practice while we were exchanging friendly insults. His drop of the pants finale trumped all insults and created a roar of laughter amongst everyone. I laugh even now just thinking of it.

So what's the deal? Am I just out of the baring of the bottom loop and it's actually alive and well? Or is it a little less common than back in the day? Maybe the ever increasing political correctness has made that cheeky custom extinct? Come on people, I gotta know!

BTW, if you're wondering what got me started on the subject it was a recent news item I happened upon. Apparently some amateur moonerist tried to exact revenge on a train crew that tossed him for not having a ticket to ride:

Train drags half-naked mooner along tracks - Weird news- msnbc.com

It's unprofessional moonerists, like the chap in the previous article, that gives the trade a bad name.

Mooning, eh?

I wrote a letter of complaint to the power company a couple of weeks back about my very high electricity bills.

They sent me back a postcard reply:

I've never mooned anyone. My posterior is best neither seen nor heard.

The image you posted isn't showing and ertman responded with "nice" so right away I have thoughts of Bay Watch and the yet unspoiled coast line of Pamela Anderson flashing in my head. This must be corrected.

BTW, what is the ratio of male mooners to female mooners pre G.G.W. (Girls Gone Wild)? I'm sure this subject has been thoroughly examined at UBC resulting in a government funded study that we can access - no?

Plus, since it is no longer actually illegal to streak (ever since Gwen Jacobs took care of that) - what's the thrill? "Oh, I'm going to streak because no one will be shocked and it is my constitutional right! And at the end, some police constable will go Western on me on the cement while I am buck naked"...
