ehMac Payment Confusion - What's Going On?

I paid my ehMac membership September 3 and got this reply from PayPal:

Subject: Subscription Receipt for ehMac.ca Sponsoring Membership Subscription

Dear ,

You have successfully signed up for a subscription to ehMac.ca Sponsoring Membership Subscription using PayPal.

Your first subscription payment, for $26.50 CAD, has already been sent to ehMac.

Then this morning, I get this:

From:
Subject: Receipt for your subscription payment
Date: September 5, 2007 6:19:12 AM MDT (CA)
To:

Dear

This email confirms that you sent $36.50 CAD to ehMac as a subscription payment.

Date of payment: Sep 5, 2007

Now I don’t really care if it is $26.50 or $36.50, but if I had to pay both, I say whoa!

You might want to edit your message to take out your name & e-mail address (so it won't be grabbed by spambots)...

Maybe they thought that you wanted to be generous and made an extra payment for you...no harm done!

I would be alittle perturbed if that happened to me too...

On Aug. 22 I made my PayPal payment of $26.50, linked from ehmac - got the same first notice from PayPal; did not get subsequent notice that it was actually $36.50. I did do two follow-up emails to ehmax, but have received no reply. Now that I see someone else has had a similar problem, I'm really wondering what the heck is going on!?!?! I just WANT to be an ehmac sponsoring member …

It may have something to do with this:

Whether it does or not, hopefully it will get cleared up soon.
