Michael Bay...

...is an ass.

The wife and I just got in from seeing Transformers.

What a total piece of crap. Plot holes, bad acting, very little to do with the Hasbro universe , a cornicopia of poop.

I went with no expectations and was still disapointed.

I am complelely baffeled how Michael Bay gets money.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'd find it hard to believe it could be any worse than Fantastic IV: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Holy crap, that was baaaaaaad!

I went in worried and I came out happy. Sorry, I wasn't expecting the strongest plot from a movie based on a toy line / cartoon series designed to sell the toy line.

All things considered in balance, from the effects to the moral of the story, it was a solid, summer popcorn-eating-time blockbuster.

Okay then, this is beautiful, a virtual butting of heads. dibenga tells us how he REALLY feels, and NBiBooker gives it 2 thumbs up. Priceless!

I won't likely rent it, it's not my thang, but I will enjoy reading other opinions on this movie. I'm interested now.

Okay, fine, maybe I'll rent it.

I thought it was awesome. Tonnes of action sequences, lots of explosions, and a little humour sprinkled throughout. WTF else do you expect from a movie about giant robots who transform into vehicles? Turn your brain off and enjoy the ride.

A friend of mine said it was awesome...even the story line. Not sure what to believe as he said Fast and Furuis was awesome. I refused to see it. I finally pryed him out with "was to story awesome or the cars?".... 'nuff said, the cars were awesome... exactly.

Having said that, I am a Transformers fan....like what was mentioned, turn the brain off, let your inner child out and watch the movie...then I'll decide.

True very true... But I DID see 'Knocked up' and laughed till my sides hurt. Now there is a movie that was worth the ticket price.

I just saw Transformers and quite liked it. It got the feel right of a simple epic struggle and had great action mixed with enough humour to keep it from getting too serious too often. Some lazy writing and a slow middle hurt a little, but still recommended.

It should have had more cheesy 80s rock like the original transformers movie.
