I always check out different types of vehicles and the options they have. I have never truly found my ultimate vehicle.
So, if you were to design your ultimate vehicle what would it be like? Options?
For me I would want a good sized SUV that gets good fuel mileage and is eco-friendly. Styling is a must. It has to look good. I would need an iPod connector, but be able to have full control over it (not via the iPod) and some large display so I can actually see the screen. It has to be roomy, enough so we can fit a ton of stuff in it and the kids won't get their muddy feet all over the back of the seats. It would have to have places to put your stuff, cellphone, headset, charger etc. A good power plant. I like to know there is plenty of power under the hood when you need it. Lastly, safety, safety, safety.

________ MaxPower, he has the name that you want to touch, but you musn't touch!
His name sounds good in your ear, but when you hear it, you musn't fear.
Cause his name can be said, in many different ways...

________
Small enough to drive and park downtown easily.
Enough storage for my many Home Depot trips.
Fast enough for the 401.
Requires no maintence, including filling with gas.
Convenient place for my big purse when someone else is in the passenger seat.

I guess good mileage and lots of power are relative, but there's a reason you haven't found your perfect car with those criteria. Check out the Lexus RX400h, but expect to pay an awful lot of money. Toyota Highlander Hybrid, too.
For me: full-time AWD, four doors, and a versatile engine - refined in town, but a screamer on the highway. Comfortable and classy. I'm willing to pay the gas mileage penalty, but good mileage relative to the power is a bonus. A good stereo is nice, too.
For me, the BMW M5 comes closest to my ultimate car, all it lacks is the AWD. Audi RS4 might be the perfect car for me, though. Subaru Impreza STI and Mitsubishi Evolution X would also be contenders, but they're more boy racer than I would like in "the" car.

Isn't that the truth.

yes, gas = power. Problem with the "fancy" suv's is that they are not practial. I would never take an 80K vehicale off-roading, I need 4WD for the terrain I tackle. My vehicles get dinged and scratched and a Lexus is not something I would ever take off-road.
