It's pretty hard to watch or listen to Liberals.

Why? Because they are still lying.

Billing their little convention as "we are electing the next prime minister", is an outright lie. Not one delegate knows that statement to be true. Typical Liberal behaviour though.

So when the Conservatives and every other party that has ever formed an opposition do the exact same thing, they are lying too? Have you even watched a leadership convention before?

Likely more than most.

Calling whoever wins the leadership the next PM is the "tiresome" part to me.

Yeah me too tho I still prefer Rae with Dion as Quebec Deputy and Gerrard in a serious cabinet position.

I can do without the old guard.
I like a lot of the youngsters - they have vision and passion.

Iggy and his old boys backroom coterie can take a hike.
Clean out the Chretien dregs.

in the best of all worlds i would like to see gerrard kennedy win, but he doesn't have the big money support

however, if iggy and rae split the votes on 1st and 2nd ballot, someone could come up the middle

i just don't know if english canada will accept another Liberal leader from Quebec so soon
the wounds created by Chretien are far too recent

i think bob rae made a brilliant move by admitting he made mistakes when premier of ontario
i think ontario is ready to forgive him and possibly put him in as leader of the Liberal party of Canada

if Iggy win, i'll mail my torn up Liberal membership card to Liberal HQ
