Gamecube: NHL '05: I finally figured out how to...

(edit: sorry should have mentioned: EA Sports)
Get the highest penalty killing average in the league over one season
This is a goal in the Dynasty mode, usually after 3 or 4 years.
I made lots of trades to create a team with incredible Toughness and Checking. Enough guys with 80+ overall and with 90+ in each of these categories to cover the 4 and 3 man penalty killing lines, with spare players in case of injuries and suspensions. I made sure to use a Center in the center position (to win faceoffs), and jigged around the defencemen to get decent chemistry (50-60).
I also got Fleury, one of the best goalies in my Dynasty in 2010-2011.
Then I had to keep checking and re-doing these lines every couple games, because the coach never wants to keep the best players on penalty killing.
I set the Practice to Bag Skate, except when morale dropped a bit, then I set it to Light Skate for a couple games.
I used Passive Box penalty killing strategy, and set my overall pressure to Conservative or something like that.
I set the ticket price to keep the stadium full.
With these strategies, I was able to Sim every game of the season, and came out with a 0.1% lead over the next best penalty killing team. My percentage started at around 96.5% and went down to 93.3%, the next highest was 93.2%.

Yes. And, there is a neat "Free4All" mode where you just play on half the ice with all four of you trying to score on the computer goalie. And in that mode you can have all the players heads be huge in size, which looks really funny.

edit: uh, well, I can't personally do it, but if I get 3 other people, we can do it
