I LOVE Carlin, the man is the funniest guy ever. As for that pig Conrad, he got his membership revoked from the Big Club. He ranks right up there with the Enron and WorldCom boys, a supercilious ass if ever there was one. With any luck he will get to abide in a US jail, maybe become a US citizen.

I believe this is an updated MouseLand speech. However not as hard hitting as The Greatest Canadian's original allegory but similar in content.

I am with you Dr. G., Canadians should get behind elevating his Lordship the BIg Fat Black Cat! King

BigDL, his Lordship shall remember your support in these trying times. He might even make you a Duke or an Earl.

I don't think Chretien should have stopped him from taking a title. The last I checked, we still have a Queen as head of state and Chretien happily filled many patronage positions, which are a leftover of the monarchy.

I also don't think renouncing your citizenship is worth a stupid title, so he doesn't deserve to get it back.

I agree. It was unimpressive behaviour on both their parts but renouncing citizenship went too far. Besides, didn't we give his to the Dalai Lama?
