Nazi tactics, only in Canada? What will the Red Rose people think? On the other hand the US needs the money to help pay for their war in Iraq.

Won't last them long at present cost of $195 million per day. Less than a week at that rate, so it doesn't mean that much to the US.

Absent the levy, firms that didn't agree to the terms of the softwood deal -- which lets the Americans keep 19 per cent of the duties -- would get a 100-per-cent refund of tariffs paid.
