Happy International Literacy Day. On this day, you should stop for a moment and reflect upon how lucky you are to be able to strategically and effectively utilize your expressive and receptive language abilities (e.g., speaking, writing, viewing, listening, reading, etc). Stop for a moment to consider how you learned these abilities. As well, think about how richer your life is today because of these abilities.
Paix, mes amis.

Gone are the days where one could get by with a rudimentary knowledge of smilies such as and . As we move into an age of more and more emoticons used in everyday situations, a high degree of smilieliteracy has become increasingly necessarily.
