Wonder how much help the Canadians received - either an embedded journalist or official videographer....

Bring them home in body bags - we should not be there under this mission - it's not peacemaking in any form....

And I thought watching "Band of Brothers" was real enough for me.

AS, if you think peacekeeping is merely walking around and giving kids candy you're sadly out of touch with reality. This video is only one of many things the Canadians are doing over there--it's not all gunplay.

You think that's gruesome, you honestly don't have a clue.

As for peacekeeping, I know guys from Bosnia who saw a lot worse than that. Sometimes Canada's left is so out of touch with reality when it comes to conflicts and war, it shocks me.

one has to have peace before there can be peace keeping
interesting how the U.S. has so many more forces in Iraq (with no ties to 9/11) and so yet pulling forces out of Afghanistan, home of the Taliban with absolute ties to 9/11

Tell me about it--I have a friend in Petawawa who told me some stories. Some really bad stuff that I won't repeat here.

Oh really? Hmm. I don't think I recall a single instance where a peacekeeping force that was required to keep an already existing peace.
