Heading to London, Ont. for the weekend

Anyone from ehMac have an recommends on the coolest spots to check out tourist wise? I am going for a quick trip with my mom to see a few of our family members. Renting a Toyota Prius for the trip to try it out. I can't wait to see the gas mileage on the car.

If anyone is interested in having a meet and greet; I would love to meet some of the ehMac crew from London. Post here or PM me with the details.

Thanks everyone,

RtC

RtC, I have never been to London, ON., so I can't help you out. However, I would be interested in your views about the Prius. Merci, mon ami.

Sites we usually take in...

- Victoria Park downtown
- there is a nice splash pad in the west end of the city
- the Market Place (I think that's what it's called). Great food and shopping - all downtown
- Galleria Mall

Just take Wellington Road right into the city and head to Victoria Park. Park your car and take a walk around the area. Good restaurants too.

If you had the time, I would recommend taking the 402 up to Ipperwash and go to any beach of Lake Huron for the views. If you can get there for sunset, you get some spectacular pictures.

Thanks for all the replies. I am in London right now. Very nice city! I got to tour around the University of Western Ontario campus, took a nice drive to most of the local malls and stop in a the local bestbuy to check it out.

Cheers,

RtC

I'll second that suggestion - years ago I went up to Lake Huron each time I visited my sister when she & her husband lived in London. Very nice little jaunt.
