The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming . . .

I got this as a PM this morning. I guess the Nigerians have taught the Russians a few tricks. Odd that they singled me out and even odder they used a PM.

Anyone else get this?

Your Responds
Dear Friend

I am barrister Solomon Joseph and I represent Mr. Mikhail Khordokovsky the former C.E.O of Yukos Oil Company in Russia. I have a very sensitive and confidential brief from him to ask for your partnership in re-profiling funds in a private bank investment portfolio in Western Europe. I will give the details, but in summary, the funds are coming via Bank Menatep in Russia.
This is a legitimate transaction. You will be paid 5% of the portfolio

investment value as your "management fees". If you are interested, please
write back to me via my private E-mail and provide me with your confidential telephone number, fax number and email address and I will provide further details and if you are satisfied I can proceed with the instructions.
Please we can not afford any political problems because of recent events in
Russia. So I will advice you keep this to your self. Finally, please note
that this must be concluded within reasonable time frame therefore your prompt reply is essential.

Write me back. I look forward to it.

Solomon Joseph(ESQ)

Sinc, I just posted something about this in a Solojoe thread. Sorry for the duplication.

Let's see, 5% of their funds equals $328,876,927.13 Can. Chances of my ever seeing this money equals 0%. Funds taken from my accounts equals everything. Cost of my stupidity equal "priceless".

I didn't get one. Boo hoo, now I'll just have to work for a living.

So the former CEO of Yukos now requires help from random Canadian Mac users? Geez, somebody burned some bridges. Or, I guess it could be a scam. He-said she-said at this point.

No one with a moustache could be untrustworthy. I have PM'd all my banking information to you and, just to show my appreciation, my credit card numbers and SIN number. I'd trust you even more if you had really bad grammar; that could get you my RRSPs.
