Moving In New Place: Home Security

I was contacted by a company - who is likely looking @ doing the whole complex. I know of a few, but are there names that resonate in the market?? Companies with great track records that fellow ehmacians want to recommend??

I might tech it out a little, in my quest to have that balance that I long spoke of (a mix between tech and teak ). Anyhow, just want to see which companies my ppl are using, and why. New to this...

thanks.

H!

AlarmForce is OK--there are local people who service each area and I've found them responsive in terms of maintenance and upgrade requests.

I was thinking the same thing.

My house is protected by the B.P.A. ( Boxer Protection Agency )

He may be a sweetheart in the store but he knows the difference between my friends walking into my yard and someone breaking in to take my goodies! Not sure how he knows but he is a very good judge of character

I've also had a good experience using a company called Basic Security.

Sticker on the window with the name of a real company on it works, too.

Intercon Security seems to be one of the best (from my research in the past), for both enterprise level and home security.

Alarm Force, with the upgrade to the built-in analog cell phone in the alarm that makes the emergency call even when the telephone line is cut.

We had ADT, and liked their service.

"Dog that barks. Seriously." Once we got all of the doxies, SoyMac's suggestion is accurate.
