adobe cs software pricing
i've been looking around for the best deal on adobe cs, and i found this, but it just don't seem right, because of the price and the license. Any thought on this?

It's an academic edition.

You're not allowed to use an AE for commercial purposes.

You can't upgrade an AE.

If you can find an older camera on ebay shipping with an early version of adobe PS, you can buy that, ditch the camera, and upgrade your version of PS to CS2 standard for $500 US from adobe. You save $400 US.

If the previous owner hadn't registered and kept PS. If the PS with the Camera wasn't the LE version.

possibly going back to school part-time this fall, and education version can be upgraded and used for commercial work right?

Is there anyway to check if a software has been registered? There are people selling them on line, older versions of the softwares and I figured maybe I can just get upgrade from that, but I'm hesitant. Any advice?
