Feedback on MacDoc

I'm just about to send my order to MacDoc.

I'm looking for feedback as I do not know them nor will I problably meet them as they are 5 hours away.

Thanks

MacDoc is great. I've never had an issue dealing with him. Also, his after sale care is very good should anything unforseen happen. You can proceed with the utmost confidence in my book.

But if you think about it, just his pressence in the Mac community and on this board makes asking the question just a tad un-necessary.

Why? I think that's a legit question. When you stop questioning somebody's business ethics for whatever reason and trusting without question - then you open the door for unethical behaviour to begin as nobody questions what's going on. Not that I am trying to imply that you will get bad service from MacDoc, it's just because you received good service doesn't nesessarily mean the next person will. I know I got great service when I initially purchased a system from him too but I was left waiting a few times when I had to go back for service.

Would I buy from David again? Yes ... but I know what he can be like too (you take the good with the bad with him)

He has gone way above and beyond the call of duty in terms of providing good service to me... which makes up for his political views.

I resemble that Thanks tho FN....and I STILL might vote for you for PM.....
Thanks others and Simon's comment is fair when we get staff short like this week responsiveness goes to hell in a handbasket.
At the same time we are THE most likely to solve a problem after midnight.

Good solutions, and good advice always, which means that he'll get my business when prices are comparable. A little out of the way for me, but worth it for what I needed.

I hoped to be able to leave him positive feedback (and receive it for my little purchase so far) but it can't be done here (until this thread, I guess) and he doesn't do heatware.

But word of mouth trumps heatware by a long way, so here you have it.
