MacNutt, it really is nice to see your meandering rants. Ready to take up a challenge and backup some of your claims? Or to you prefer to blah blah blah on every Thread?
You (once again), ignored direct questions and explanations...
So I'm reposting it again....
MacNutt said:
No matter what happens on jan 23rd...the Liberals are pretty much finished as a power in this country. Probably for quite some time.
Paul Martin will retire from his current role as leader of what remains of the party...this is a given...and the whole party will probably implode after the next election. Many of them will be arrested in the investigations that will follow their defeat, and many will spend time in jail.
Are you not seeing this? Got the blinders screwed down real tight these days?
MacNutt, you have been challenged many times on this board and failed miserably to rise to any challenge.
It would take someone obtuse to believe that:
- Liberals are pretty much finished as a power in this country. Probably for quite some time.
- The whole party will probably implode after the next election
- Many of them will be arrested in the investigations that will follow their defeat, and many will spend time in jail.
Define what you are saying in quantifiable terms with specifics. I'm ready to gamble a hefty sum that your predictions (once properly defined) will be BS....
Up to the challenge?
ASs - you seem to *think* you are intelligently defending the liberals and bashing the "cons" but what you're really doing is making yourself looks stupid, making my head hurt and if anyone else is dumb enough to think your views are representative of liberal followers in general you make us all look bad.
Winwintoo, Mugatu: speaking as someone who gets sucked into this IQ vacuum that equates attacking alternative views with discussion -- just like politicians do -- thank you for coming out and saying what needed to be said. I was hoping it would run its course, but this is getting silly.
I will try harder not to perpetuate what you two have pointed out, even when I feel implicitly or explicitly smeared. I can not guarantee success, but I will try. I can not guarantee that in some situations I won't feel that retaliation is required, but I will try.
I'm surprised that on the only Thread where I have said that I will now engage MacNutt, everyone but him seems to chime in. Now, if anyone would like a thread to slowly disappear, the solution is easy - just don't participate.
Frankly, I'm tired of sophomoric attacks on everything Liberal. This mumbo jumbo that is espoused by some fellow posters is typical of the platitudes served up but Con PR machines. A few voices have pointed out the erroneous thinking and fallacies put forth only to be drowned out by the bellowing of dunces.
Any thoughtful subject on the elections has been reduced to "the Liberals are criminals". Surely there is more to it than that. Yes, very few Con supporters are able to comment of whys and the implications of certain policies. Is the general Canadian population suffering for apathy and voter burnout that they prefer the simple answers put forth by the Cons?
There are plenty of choices out there - NDP, Green, Bloc, Cons, Libs, Pot and a few independents. Reducing your vote to a simple poster, or a look, or a sound byte is tantamount to negligence.

Hey numb nuts let me try and sell you something now that the Liberals cant, the truth so here goes....
Number One: Frankly I too am sick and tired of your poor and pathetic little attempts to defend the circus clowns aka the Liberals, in an attempt to make the party look good. And judging by your responses you have failed miserably to provide one good reason as to why the Liberals should be in power. Martin first said he was going to focus on the needs of Canadians, well how is talking about Harper said this, and Harper said that in their ads focusing on the needs of Canadians? Because if I remember correctly the Liberals were racists a while back, by calling African Americans the N word. Clearly the Liberals are desperate to stay in power, they would sell their own mothers down the river just to stay in power, because they want to waste more of our tax money, well this time it isn’t working, 43 percent of Canadians nationally so far are voting Conservative, and the Liberals are at 27 percent and falling. Sorry Martin I guess you're going to have to pay for that home reno your self.
Number two: If you want to engage in a conversation with ONLY a specific person then you send them a message privately, you don’t post it in a PUBLIC key word PUBLIC forum and make a show out of it to try and prove a point you don’t have. So lets go back to grade school shall we, if you want to talk to some one personally such as Macnut about something then you send them a private message. Are you clear on that?
Number three: Stop trying to act like a smart ass by using all of these big words that you probably looked up in the dictionary to make your self sound good, if anything you too look like a Liberal clown by trying to make yourself sound smart, sounding smart and being smart are two different things, if you're smart you will not vote Liberal simple. There are plenty of choices out there and the Liberals clearly aren’t one of them.
Hey I wasn’t talking any smack about FeXL because he didn’t say anything in any of these threads about the election to my knowledge. And I don’t know him anyways. Threats will not change my point of view, And FeXL yes I will agree that ok may be what I have been saying was a little inappropriate. But I will not however apologize for anything that I said about the Liberals, so ArtistSeries, I am sorry.
Hey at least I did something the Liberals didn’t do, acknowledge my mistake, and apologize for it. But hell I have to agree with some of the people ArtistSeries nobody cares.
Political chatter has degraded to pseudo-Reservoir Dogs finale... everyone's pissed, the **** has hit the fan, and everyone's got their proverbial guns trained on each other's heads with the hammer cocked.
Having never been a member of a club, they aren't true "colours". However, they are my riding gear and there are a few patches on the vest. OK, more than a few, but less than two dozen...
And, IT 101, thx for apologizing to AS. It's sometimes difficult not to get caught up in the moment.
If I could take a page from SINC's bestselling handbook, "Mastering Effective Communication on ehMac", enter your response in a text or word processor first, then come back to it 5 minutes or a half hour later. Reread it, and if it says what you mean, copy, paste and post it. Otherwise, edit or delete at your leisure.
Hey no problem, I thought it was the right thing to do.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
