Drove to work this morning. Snowy conditions everywhere, blinding snow squalls, cold, windy....winter weather at its best.
Then I check on the 14 day trend for weather and find that the temps will jump past 12 degrees by the end of this month. Rain, thunderstorms and more rain.
Same strange weather here. We could easily be getting our first real snow by this time in Nov., but it is currently pushing 12C with nothing lower than 5C in sight for the rest of the week.

Usually we don't ever see snow here until maybe a dusting at christmas and then some snow in Jan ..
Belleville seems to be in a zone where it misses the huge snowfalls ..
I have been here in On for almost 7 years now... I think that if you accumulated all the snow that fell in those years, it still would not amount to be what I used to see fall in one winter in NB..
Meanwhile back in the Carribbean........it's, yep you guessed it.
Tropical storm DELTA!!!!!!!

1 this morning on the way to 11 and no end in sight until at least Monday. Lawns are once again green. A welcome relief to the onset of winter as we normally have a ton of snow and cold by now.

MacDoc, Delta is pushing this warmth our way, which is the only explanation for this sort of mild weather here in St.John's. Usually, on US Thanksgiving Day, which is the same day each year, it is much colder with a chance of snow.
