Font insecurity

Hi all,

I'm revamping my portfolio website (Photographer/ Designer) and I'm trying to decide on a new font. I create gifs with this font and need it to be chunky because a. I use a mouse-over effect (black to grey) and b. I like the weight.

I definitely want the font to be sans serif. I also want something whimsical but not too whimsical. I'm including a link for the font I'm contemplating. I've taken a poll amongst my friends and collegues and the reations have come back mixed. Some think fun is good, others don't. I want to find something in the middle between this and something a bit more serious/ professional.

Any suggestions and or examples?

I guess it depends on how you use it. The font is fine, but I'd rather comment on how it fits into the final product. Put together a 'test' site and I'm sure you'll get plenty of opinions.

Thanks for your input.

I want to use the font as headings eg. PHOTOGRAPHY, and then thumbnails of photos below it.

I'm attaching a link of some boxing and wrestling posters I've found. I'm really liking that chunky font. I epecially like its slight irregularity. Basically a condition of the printing process at the time.

Does anyone know of a font like this? Any help is appreciated!
