Rogers and Bell to create nat'l wireless network

CBC: Rogers and Bell to create national wireless network.

Very cool. And it will have a cool name!

Could the end of cable and telephone broadband be near?

Another, unholy alliance by any standard. This will be very bad for competition in this burgeoning area of communications.
Bad for all of us in the long run, although the technology is great and offers a lot.

They have a web page
Inukshuk.ca

SaskTel has a different deal with the CRTC than the other telcos does. I have no idea what the differences are, but it's long standing and makes a difference in how they operate. I don't know what Manitoba's deal is.

Take care, Margaret

Thanks for the info. Not sure why Manitoba would be left out of this arrangement.
