Pretty slimy stuff. Sort of like fat envelopes full of untraceable cash being passed to shadowy figures in Italian restaurants. Or people being threatened with violence by mafia types. Or fake names on inflated payrolls being paid for work that was never done.

Reminds one of The Sopranos. Or the federal Liberals.

Time to give these guys a vacation from power. And it's also time that someone besides themselves was allowed to really dig deep and investigate just how corrupt the Liberals really are/were.

None of the above will happen if we re-elect them. Health care won't get fixed, either. It'll just continue to collapse and die a slow death.

Your choice on voting day. Make it a good one.

PB, I did share parts of the transcript in the post above yours. I think it was in my browser cache from before they made it subscription or something.

For the full thing, try Googling "grewal tape transcript".

Even the CBC has it:
http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/el...anscripts.html

edit: if you only want to read one of the PDFs, read this one:

Mostly. Although I often skim over macdoc's long winded posts.

How about yourself?

As for whether the tapes were doctored, I did not hear that. I heard that not all the tapes were released; that there were more. The suggestion being that the tapes that were released and that the statements in them are not enough to paint the accurate picture... and I believe such a suggestion is pure spin - there's plenty of damning evidence in there no matter how you look at it.

MacNutt: If you read what the rest of us post, then you would have seen the question I asked. It was, after all, directed at you.

I'm not suggesting they don't paint an ugly picture, but I have to wonder wy a party that claims to be on the high ground needs to take the low road to get there. I guess that's why Grewal is on "stress leave" right now.
