Thumbs up Anyone watch the Grammy's last night?

I thought that was the best award show I have ever seen. Alicia Keys is the best. We make a big deal of Ray Charles and what he was, but I think we were watching something as great last night... I think she's that good.

I picked up the Tsunami tribute song "Across The Universe" available on iTMS. Not my favourite song at first, but its growing on me. And hey, its only 99¢ for a good cause, and Bono's on it. What a great promo for iTunes too.

Speaking of which, my boy's playing Rock-N-Roll picked up 3 grammy's for Vertigo!

In your face all ye U2 bashers. I loved their performance. U2 rocks, but boy was there a lot of talent last night.

Except for J-Lo and Mark anthony in their cheesy, Telumundo Soap Opera performance. That was so bad, it was painful.

Kanye West....... What can I say. I loved his performance and that song.

When did Jamie fox learn to play and sing like that?!?! Held his own with Alecia.

Would love to buy all the performances of the night.

I agree, best Grammies I can remember by far.

I was blown away by both Kanya West's performance, and by the Melissa Ethridge duet. She was amazing! Green Day was great too.

I thought the rendition of 'Sweet Home Alabama' was a little homely, given it wasn't *really* Leonard Skynard, but meh, not too bad either.

The Melissa duet was great, but boy, I sure liked it better when she had hair.

Green day was great too. Really, a nice smorgasbord of music. Even Queen Latifa... she sings great too.

uh...ehmax...you know she has breast cancer, right?

I love Greenday. I love them I love them I LOVE THEM. I've had a huge crush on the lead singer since forever. I also watched them on jay leno or david letterman last week and I now love the drummer. That guy is a freakin hilarious performer.

I hate John Mayer. He shouldn't have won best song for that stupid daughter song. what a joke. I thought Greenday should win for american idiot. at least they had the balls to make a statement. i'm surprised they were even allowed to play that song on tv.

That chick that sang with melissa was pretty freakin' hot. I don't know who she is but that girl is comfortable on a stage and can sure hold her own. i was impressed.

And Alicia. What can I say. Classy and talented broad. I think I'll go download something of hers right now. same with jamie foxx. IMPRESSIVE. Finally an actor turned musician who has some freaking talent.

jlo and mark anthony were a joke. Well jlo was anyway. She was terrible and she knew it. She was upset at the end and mark was consoling her.

I liked that threesome at the beginning with franz, gwen and the other band...I can't remember who right now..but i remember thinking it was pretty hot when i watched it.

It was the first grammy's in a long time that actually held my attention. They need a better host next time though. I didn't like the queen. Wasn't at her best.

Alicia Keys is amazing.. I've been following her for quite a long time and I knew she would be a hit when it came her time.

Jaime Foxx has always been lingering in the background as a musician. Remember when he had his own show? I think it was almost 10 years ago.. maybe a little less. He used to sing a lot on it and it's weird to see him going all out. He did a great job in Ray though.. Good movie

Did anyone else watch it in High Def? It looks great and the 5.1 sound that comes with it rocks!

I suspect viewership was down not because the show was bad this year, but because it was so bad for the last few years.

"hey, let's watch the grammy's"
"Are you kidding, I watched it last year and it sucked!"
