Unhappy Anyone tape NYPD Blue? (request)

Okay, I feel funny requesting this, but I missed the 1/25/05 broadcast of NYPD Blue.
I'm saving all the shows from this last season, as I've been a fan from the beginning. So...

Did anyone record that 1/25/05 episode? Can I get a copy? I'll pay any costs and be forever grateful. Here is the episode info...

Episode 14: "La Bomba"
Air Date: 01/25/2005

Sipowicz and Clark investigate the charred corpse of a big business owner with dealings in Colombia, and a teenage boy from a wealthy family is found beaten to death in an alley frequented by drug dealers.

Let me know, and thanks in advance,

-Howie

I'm new to bittorrent, I understand the concept of it, but not how to use it. That link is to be used in a bittorrent client?

Thanks Kard, but I'm a bit stumped.

Excuse me if I make this too simple:

Yes, you need a torrent client like bittorrent or tomato torrent. Think of it just like Word or any other app. You need an app to open a file.

Get the torrent file for the show you want, open it with the application, tell it where to DL, wait about 2~3 hours and watch your show.

I got about 10 mbs downloaded, stopped the download, and tried to test the avi file (partially downloaded avi files will play), but nothing can play the file. This is a common problem with some avi files, Macs have trouble with them. VLC chokes on it too. Bummer.

The way bittorrent works, it doesn't download the file linearly. (ie from start to finish) like other file programs.

It downloads whatever 'slice' is available. (there are usually 100's of slices to a good sized files)

So, you more or less have to wait for the whole file to be received before you can view it. Otherwise, you'll hit 'dead spots' (where that part of the file hasn't been dl'd yet) and the video will just pause.

The speeds depend on how many people are sharing the file at any given time. They also usually take some time to 'ramp-up' if you will.

As far as avi playback goes, I find Mplayer to work the best.

Hope that helps!

That makes sense Kard, I'll try again and just let it complete.
The reason I stopped to check it, was because I wasn't sure if it was the correct episode. The file name didn't have anything in it indicating a 1/25/05 reference.
Which leads me to the one thing I'm curious about... how did you search for the file? That's the part of bittorrent that I stumped about. I've seen music related bittorrent web pages with search capability, but nothing for TV shows and such.
