Woohoo!!!...It arrived today!!!
I just can't seem to put it down, But I'll have to soon...
I have to go to the neighbourhood guitar shop and pick up some picks.

Love the action on this guitar though...
The music store that I got it from in the U.S. was nice enough to
under value it for me when it was shipped so the duty was only
$43., I was expecting to pay over $100. for it.

It took almost 3 weeks to get it, But it was worth waiting for.
A few items were missing in the shipment like a guitar strap and
a gig bag, But I've informed them and hopefully I'll get those items asap.

I bought the hard shell case with it when I bought it and they
shipped it inside the case, That certainly seemed to stop the
nasty Canadian posties from damaging it.

BTW...For those that might be interested in this guitar,
Here's the URL where I bought from:
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/drumandg...fenodespr.html

The colour I got is Metallic Black...I didn't want to attract attention.

Anyways...Gotta go.

Dave

Update:

In addition to this post, I noticed that I was missing a few items
upon delivery of the guitar.

Apparently in the owners manual it mentioned that two
adjustment wrenches are included and a gig bag, A guitar
strap with an external 9v battery pack was somehow forgotten in
the shipment as well. (The guitar strap battery pack was an extra
item that I purchased and isn't included with the guitar but was
missing nonetheless)

Luckily the company that I bought the guitar off of in the States
is sending the missing items to me free of charge without my
having to pay extra shipping or Taxes & Duty!!!, I got the Guitar
strap external battery pack yesterday.

Wow, what a cool idea for a portable axe! I'm wondering...

- how do the built-in effects/amp modelling compare to something like the PodXT, or even Garageband's guitar processing?
- is the built-in speaker very good, or is it tinny sounding?
- the pictures on their site aren't very big, is that bridge a tremolo/whammy bar type? The bridge looks large, almost like a locking unit.

I'm rather intrigued by the design. Enjoy, and thanks for sharing!

I have it working through my PCR-A30 Edirol keyboard at the
moment and I'm using the keyboards speakers, But I have used
the guitar with headphones and played it a bit through the built-in speaker.

I've yet to get it setup to run through my computer and to add
live tracks to my Garage Band creations.

The built-in speaker is a bit tinny, Although it comes in handy
for tuning the guitar.

The PodXT looks interesting, I didn't even know they existed, But
the PodXT looks like it would be a good buy for a guitar that
doesn't have the built-in effects processor that the Nomad has.

There is a Digitech stand alone processor that does pretty
much the same things as the Nomad plus some more (Maybe a
lot more!!!), But then you need a guitar to go with it and I really
just wanted a simple little guitar that I could take anywhere
without having to haul an amplifier and processor around as well.

(The Digitech processor is a little expensive)
