Because they were in several countries, it only slowed the process down considerably... The Calgary Herald had an article on Kazzaa a few weeks back, will have to see if I can find but I don't think I will be able to

That sort of makes sense, since Kazaa was doing business in the US (well, its product was being used in the States).
Not that I've got much sympathy for the RIAA or the MPAA, mind you....
