My Kid's teeth are growing in like shark teeth - 2 rows

I have never seen this before.. but my kid has two rows of teeth, as the front pop the back row move into the new holes.. I have been watching this act of nature for over 2 weeks and I am speechless.. I have never seen someone with two rows of teeth before..
Nor did I expect the back row to move into to place.
of course wife blames my genetics for it.. LOL.

I hope I don't have to pay for braces

That's usually the new teeth coming in before the last ones fall out. One of my nephews has it worse-some baby teeth have no adult teeth behind them.

I think the other one is loose - also I catch my kid playing with it all the time.. I will keep an eye on things - if it is not loose I may have to take him to the dentist.. or wiggle it out..
hoping the next set up teeth will be normal.. old out first and new in after.

Time to go to the dentist for an X-ray. I had a girl friend who had an additional row of upper teeth that had to be removed when she was a kid. I'm not saying that is the case with your son but only by going to a dentist and getting an X-ray can you know for sure what is going on and it is much easier to correct sooner than later. And if it is the case your wife is right it is genetics but not necessarily yours.

when they first appeared - we went to his routine check up and the dentist did say all is good. now you have me freaked out..

My son is a off the charts at school 6 yrs old [ he just finished SK ] and doing math and reading/writing of grade 1 and 2 the teacher said..
but the wife took the credit [genetic credits]
BTW- all that is bad wife blames me.. all that is good she takes credit.. soon I will show her the door and say "who is correct this time ?" HA HA HA H

Sorry didn't mean to freak you out. All I meant to do was tell you that if he does have two rows of teeth it has been known to happen and can be corrected, but an X-ray is probably required to know for sure what is going on... good luck to your son, you and your wife... keep us posted.

my daughters both went through that and their teeth are beautiful and straight, just make sure that the baby teeth are coming out and the "second row" will move forward on its own

In the instance of my ex-girl friend she actually had two rows of adult teeth so not the same thing as I was referring to and did require dental surgery to correct.
