After today's stage in the Giro, Ryder Hesjedal is now wearing the race leader's pink jersey. There's still two more weeks to go, but he's definitely a serious contender for overall victory.

Totally forgot the Giro is on! Thanks! TDF is my superbowl, can't wait for this year's event. Also next year's 100th TDF should be spectacular I hope.
Thought I was the only cycling enthusiast in this forum!
I was a course marshal at a mountain bike race that was one of Ryder Hesjedal's early career victories. Even though it was off-road and Ryder was not one of the most technically skilled racers (it was a very technically challenging course on Vancouver Island; lots of obstacles), his phenomenal strength and endurance won out.
The steephilltv link from crawford's post also includes links to the Eurosport live webcasts in English. Sean Kelly is the colour commentator. I was watching it on the weekend. There's annoying ads that pop up at the start, and every 10 or 15 minutes, but you can turn them off after about 20 seconds.
