We haven't had a Hallelujah discussion in a while....

Lol. It's a beautiful song and I have actually liked hearing lots of different voices do it, but I'm kind of done with it. So many years of covers and none have moved me as much as Jeff Buckley's version.

He did a good job, but I still prefer kd lang's version from the 2010 Olympics.

I'm very fond of Buckley's version, though I think I rate John Cage's version (which I heard at the end of Basquiat) as my favourite. I will have to seek out the KD Lang version.

One of the very few $1.29 iTunes that is worth the extra mark-up.

K.D.Lang did a good job, but I have to agree with fnjmusic. I do like the Rufus Wainwright version.

I know it's been "done to death" but it's kind of like Danny Boy and Ava Maria, each new singer brings something new to the song.
