Price Check: Early 2010 MBP 15"

hi,

wondering what the market value would be for the following MBP

Early 2010 - no warranty, no box.
15" High-Resolution Antiglare 1680x1050 Display
2.66Ghz Core i7 (dual-core)
8 GB RAM - 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3-8500)
256GB SSD (Vertex 3)
Intel HD graphics & NVidia GeForce GT 330M 512MB,
Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n)
Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
Gigabit Ethernet
Firewire "800" port
2x USB 2.0 ports
SD card slot
optical digital/analog audio in/out
Mini DisplayPort [ that supports an external display at 2560x1600 (it also passes an audio signal)]
Charger, MagSafe grounded-extension cable inclusive.

Hardware condition, not a scratch or blemish on the LCD no dead pixels; BUT a few scuffs on the outside of the case do to travelling and working on less than highly pristine surfaces but immaculate in operation.

Any ideas on price and also any inclination of what Carbonation would honor as a trade in?

If I were you, I'd return it to stock (keep the 256GB SSD/RAM upgrade). Then sell it for $1200. You already have the upgraded screen.

Giving what you have in the OP for $1200 would be an absolute steal for the buyer, and no point for you unless you just want to sell it within a day.

Units with the same specs, minus the SSD, with 500GB 5400rpm HDD and AppleCare until next year sell regularly around $1200. Minus the 500GB HDD ($100), minus the year and a half of AppleCare ($190) plus the SSD ($350), you can see the math.

Your upgrades are the wild card - to get value out of the SSD and the RAM, you need to find a buyer who wants just this config.
The cheapest 15" on Apple.ca refurb store today is an i7 4GB RAM 500 GB rotating. Plus with a year of Applecare of course.

I think you're right about the wild card being the upgrades and also looking for someone that requires this exact configuration. I keep open to whats out there and will update with pictures should I officially sell it tomorrow.
