Price check - iPhone 16GB Black 3G

Have a friend who is thinking of upgrading, wondering what he can get for his iPhone 16GB Black 3G (Not current 3Gs)

iPhone has been used in a case with a screen protector with just very faint normal use scratches on back.

My guess would be 150-200. But that will probably drop substantially in a few weeks time as I have a feeling the market is about to be flooded with used 3G iPhones... I know I'm planning to upgrade but unless I can get more than 100 I think I'll just keep it as a backup phone.

150-200? I'm seeing quite a few 8GB 3G phones on Toronto Craigslist for 300 and up. I'm guessing the 16GB should get 300... (Also planning to post my wife's for 300 soon)

Sold a couple for $500 last week. Wasn't planning on upgrading, then I saw the price point on the iPhone4. Decided to put up my 3G's to see what would happen. Got over 20 responses in less than 24 hrs and ended up with more than asking. The only downside was that I sold them too quickly and wife wasn't too happy about not having a phone for a few days; took me a while to find iPhone4's in stock.

The iPhone4 was already available when I sold mine. In fact I see them still going for around $250. Although I'm sure it depends on if you're selling it locked and what condition it's in.
