Price Check ibook G3 500 MHz

I have an ibook G3 500MHz with 256 MB of SDRAM and a 14.07GB Hard Drive. It also has a DWL-122 802.11b usb wireless adapter. It is working well although it hasn't been used much in the last 8 months.

My guess would be about $150.

Wow. Mac2sell.net lists this machine as being worth $60. Yikes. I'd stick closer to what Love/Hate says - though once snow leopard comes out, I'd say all the non-intel machine's values will plummet.

I've been watching the iMac G3 postings on Kijiji here in Ottawa and in Toronto via RSS feeds for about 3 months now and I've seen ads for what you have anywhere from 70 to 150. I think 60-90 is more realistic in terms of a final selling price, depending on what's included, and what shape it's in.

If I found a similar model for around $120-130, would you guys suggest I take it or wait until Snow Leopard comes out like the above poster mentioned?

I have had 2 similar machines given to me over the past few years.

HD and RAM too small for Tiger. I would say $50 as long as the buyer can pick it up and pays cash.
