Does anybody know where I can purchase C&C Generals ZERO hour for mac? I have the C&C Generals, im just looking for the expansion pack.

Are there any stores or places to go to find old mac games? Aspyr does have a patch to make PPC games work so that isn't a problem.

And check your Mac model and its OS compatibility that you didn't mention.

I'm not a gamer, but aren't those PPC only type games that will NOT run with any Lion boot install.

Like I said in my original post, ASPYR released a patch so it can work.

I tried google...it didn't bring any results

found somethin' on amazon-but it's about $90. Maybe you can get the C&C Deluxe package?

Only the patch download works in that link. The buy now link does not work.

Or is the stuff you need in that updater and suck it out from its pkg installer with Pacifist??

Zero Hour is a full expansion pack so it's nothing you can "suck" out of a .pkg file. There is no installer other than updates. The regular Generals and the ZH expansion are both drag and drop installs. You also don't need an update to play on PowerPC as they come off the disk as PowerPC apps and the 1.04 update makes both universal. The update is only needed to play on Intel.

I own both and bought my copies years ago but contacting Aspyr would be a good idea. They still sell many games that are even older.

One bug worthy of noting.. when it comes to online play you can only do PowerPC vs PowerPC or Intel vs Intel. Even though 1.04 is universal it can't play one architecture vs another. Never really understood why. Since you're on a PowerPC system it would seem I would only update Generals to 1.03 and Zero Hour to 1.01. Going higher will only make the game folders bigger as it adds Intel code that will be useless to you.
