Tried to search for this, I can't be the only on with this issue?
Using the two finger swipe, on a macbook pro,
Pages swipe back and forward in swipe history no problem.
However, If I have a search string of words in the google window, top right corner of safari 5.1.5, when I swipe back, the text in the google window will replace the text on the google search page I swipe back to.
Eg. Lets say I am browsing ehMac.ca and I want to search something new.
So I type in: two finger swipe, in the google window at the top of safari.
I get a google search page with apple magic mouse being the first result on google.
I click on it, browse that page for a while, then use the two finger swipe to go back to the google search results page, and change my search on the web page to just: two, on the google web page, not the little search window.
The results give me two (number) on a wikipedia page as the first result. I click on it, browse that page and then two finger swipe to go back to the google search results for the word: two, and VOILA.... The word two on the web page gets replaced with the text I had left in the google window in safari.
But the google page has not changed, just the search string I had previously entered. In fact, if you scroll down, and goto the next page of results, they are in fact for the correct search string, but the incorrect text remains on the web page search window.
Its a bit confusing, perhaps because of the way I browse, safari has no Home button that I know of so leaving a page to goto google, I always have typed my next search in the safari window.
Is it just me or is this a bug?
