: I, Claudius .... released again!!
johnp Apr 1st, 2012, 03:55 PM That wonderful BBC series that was shot and aired in 1976, has just been released again -- yeah!! Based on the 1934 novels by Robert Graves, the series captures Rome's first four emperors like never before!!
I have it on order, and so looking forward to getting, re-watching, and re-living this phenomenal tv series.
Anyone else?

Rps Apr 1st, 2012, 07:13 PM I agree with you. IC was one of the best series ever release IMO. But also don't over look Rome, I also thought that was outstanding as well.
I think I can count on one hand the series sets I would love to own, they ar
I Claudis
Rome
Deadwood
The Tudors
Downtown Abbey
After that.......not sure I'd buy any.

If I had to pick one, it would be "Rome". That series was a-m-a-z-i-n-g !
Joker Eh Apr 2nd, 2012, 02:59 PM Deadwood would be mine. And if you have not watched Game of Thrones, you are missing out.

Zuesie Shores?
Rps Apr 3rd, 2012, 09:55 AM I'm not so sure about Thrones, let's see how the second year goes... First year was very good. Just did a marathon of Carnivals, that is one for the buy list... Very complex.

Also a big fan of DeadWood, though I really would like to see some kind of ending.
Rps Apr 3rd, 2012, 11:42 AM You think Deadwood didn't have a "proper" ending, take a look at Carnivale....talk about no ending ending.
