Not sure how I did it but not long after I upgraded to Lion my iMac (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/4GB 1067MHz RAM/OS X 10.7.3) a black bar appeared at the bottom of my screen that reads in white letters what the cursor is doing ("You are over a folder"); at the same time a computer voice reads the words appearing in the box. This is making me crazy. Grateful for any help to turn this feature off.

System preferences>universal Access and there should be an option.

LOL I'll say! I helped a friend out with this very issue once. I believe you can even make the voice talk faster, which essentially, makes you go crazy faster! :lmao:
