So; my search for an OS 9 and OS X dual boot laptop lead me to a Powerbook G4 (DVI) as in my specs bellow. Its a great little machine and I use it for light web browsing some old PPC only games etc.
The only problem is that it has the paint chipping issue on the black plastic edge of the case. I read it was quite the problem back in the day. Anyone have any ideas how to clean it up? I'm not sure how to strip the remaining paint off. acetone/paint thinner? Fine grit sandpaper? Should I take the unit apart before I attempt this facelift? Then when the paints gone; should I repaint it? Or maybe use some thin vinyl tape?
But as I said before this is a great little machine! Couldn't ask more for something under $100!! (well if you don't count the new battery or extra 512mb ram)
