Hi there-
The contacts on my phone have gotten corrupt. There seems to be extra numbers added to contacts, so Joe's and Jim's contact numbers are now on Jill's contact (in addition to her's) and vice versa etc. and Bob's picture is on Jim's contact etc... there are hundreds of contacts affected.

Any idea what is going on there? it has been synced with my computer, I am running OS 5.0.1 on an iPhone 3s.

Also the Wi-Fi isn't picking up the house signal, but does pick up others.
GPS is very slow to figure out where I am, if it does at all, it is not very reliable.

Should I upgrade to OS 5.1?

Try restoring the iPhone in iTunes first; that will update it to 5.1 at the same time. (Backup + wipe and restore.)
