: iTunes not filtering results properly

Hello,

I'm running iTunes 10.6 on a Macbook 3.1 (2.2 Ghz 6GB RAM) with the latest Snow Leopard version.

I noticed that my iTunes is now not filtering results properly. I recently added an album by the artist Gorillaz. I have a smart playlist called recently added that is supposed to contain any music added in the last 2 weeks, sorted by date added. The Gorillaz album was not there. Then I type Gorillaz in the search bar and although I see the album and the artist name in the list, the artist name Gorillaz is not available in the column browser!

Also, I recently added some jazz play along tracks by Jamey Aebersold and not only are the tracks absent in the "recently added" smart play list the are not there in another smart playlist I have called "Aebersold tracks", which contains the rule artist contains "Aebersold". All my other Aebersold albums are there, why is this one not getting filtered properly even though the artist name is correctly labeled and is identical to other albums that are in that smart playlist?

I'm tried restarting iTunes to no avail. Could the last Safari update have mess up my iTunes?
