Hello,
My sister updated her 1st generation ipad to iOS 5 now she can.t rotate while she's showing photos in photos, is there a way to get it working with out using a second party app. or is there a app that would replace the photo and keep it in its original spot when you rotate it. in iOS 4 you could just rotate on the fly.
thanks for any help

Double-click the Home Button to bring up the active running apps. Swipe to the far left side and check to see if Portrait Orientation is locked.

Under the General Settings, the iPad can be set to use the side Slide Switch to either Rotation Lock or Mute. This will change the far left icon to the other control. I have mine set for Rotation Lock as I can switch quickly between landscape and potrait lock modes.

I guess i never worded this right, when I'm in photos you could rotate the picture that was sideways via a little arrow, since upgrading to iOS 5 there is no way to rotate the photos that are taken sideways with a camera. this is a 1st generation iPad

When you are in the photos there should be an edit button and then rotate should be one of the options.

Wow, I didn't realize they did this. iPad: Which iOS 5 features does my iPad support? (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4559)
I guess you can use Photoshop Express from Adobe to do your photo editing.
