Hi folks,

I can't seem to beam photos from my iPhone 4S to my new iPad. When I choose a few photos to 'beam' , it just spins while searching.

I have location on for both, both appear to be set to send photos to each other and I make sure iPhoto is launched on both.

The only option I have off in the Gen. settings, to make sure that photo stream is off. I don't want my photos to sync with iCloud, but I would like the option to send select photographs from my iPhone to my iPad.

Do I need iCloud to make this work, or maybe i'm doing something wrong?
