For the longest time I don't understand why the two-finger pinch zoom would work in Camino but not in Firefox if you have a multitouch trackpad. Last night I learned from Macworld Mac OS X Hints (http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20110322102812402) that Mozilla disabled the two-finger pinch zoom function as of Firefox 4. The article also shows how to enable the function again.

What version of FF have tried this with? Just gave that a go and it's FAIL for me anyway.

What version of FF have tried this with?

Sorry I forgot to state the version number. I am running FF10.0.2. The two-finger pinch zoom works fine after putting in those custom strings.

There are a few browser.gesture. ... Make sure you enter the strings for the correct ones.

I'm on 11.0 apparently. This is the main reason why I use Safari more than FF now, the other being that 1password add on has not been working in FF for some time, that is until just recently. Granted it was my fault for (accidentally) updating to a newer version of FF.

Didn't know that FF11 is released. Thanks for the tip.

I just updated to FF11. The two-finger pinch zoom still works.

Yup, I'm a knob! It's official!

And yes it does work. But I will say that it doesn't work nearly as smooth as Safari.
