: Transmission - Can't schedule downloads

Hello,

I have been trying to set Transmission to download during my off-peak hours 2am-8am but have been unable to get it to work.

I am running OS X 10.7.3 and Transmission 2.42.

Mostly, I've been mucking around with "Turtle" mode in the "Bandwidth" preference pane.

Really, anything I do seems to have no effect.

Any help/suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thank you.

You may have better luck asking in the Transmission forums.

I don't understand the problem--what is it doing and when?

I believe the OP is trying to set a schedule for downloads to start/run between 2am-8am.

You could try setting the Global Limits to '0' and enable them. Then set the Speed Limit mode to the setting you require for DL/UL and enter the frequency (every day), the time 2am-8am and enable.

I use Transmission but have not known about this possibility. This should work. See also this article (http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-automate-organize-torrents-with-the-transmission-downloader-mac/).
